Creation of an account to declare and publish - “Espace professionnel” (Professional space)

You can have only one “Espace professionnel” (hereafter, Professional space) in Carrefour Lobby Québec.

To create your Professional space, you must (in step 1) provide the required information and validate your identity (in step 2), using the Interac® verification service or the Lobbyisme Québec Identity Verification form. 

Step 1 – Provide the required information

This step involves providing the following information:

  1. your personal information;
  1. your contact information;
  1. your security information.
    Once you have completed step 1, you must validate your email address using a link that will be sent to that address.

Step 2 – Validate your identity

This step consists in validating your identity by authenticating yourself. It also allows you to avoid duplicate accounts in Carrefour Lobby Québec.

You can validate your identity using one of the following options:

  1. the Interac® verification service;
  2. the Lobbyisme Québec Identity Verification form.
    Validate your identity using the the Interac® verification service

This real-time authentication service allows you to validate your identity immediately using a quick and easy process:

  1. click on the “Continue with the Interac® verification service” button;
  1. select your financial institution or use the Interac® verification service app (available for iPhone or Android);
  1. follow the steps indicated to complete authentication.
    No financial information will be disclosed to Lobbyisme Québec and no information filed to Carrefour Lobby Québec will be transmitted to the authentication service or to your financial institution. For more details, please visit the Interac® verification service website.

Validate your identity using the Lobbyisme Québec identity verification form 

If you choose to validate your identity using this form, you must provide a copy of two separate, valid and current identification documents from different reliable sources, including at a minimum all of the following information:

  1. Attachment 1: your full name and date of birth;
  1. Attachment 2: your full name and address.

For example, it could be a copy of your driver's license, your health insurance card or a recent utility bill. 

Lobbyisme Québec will only use copies of the documents you provide to verify your identity for the creation of a Professional space. Access to this information will be limited to personnel involved in the identity verification process. 

Lobbyisme Québec will analyze your request for identity validation and will follow up on it within the time frame provided for in its commitment regarding the services offered.

Access to your Professional space

Once your identity has been validated, you can access your Professional space and consult your Profile, which contains all the information concerning you:

  1. personal information;
  1. public offices;
  1. security information.

It is also in your Professional space that you can:

  1. consult your notifications;
  1. create or join one or more “Espaces collectifs” (hereafter, Collective spaces) and thus access the functionalities related to the disclosure of lobbying activities.

Note

If you are a lobbyist, the creation of a Professional space is not equivalent to registration in the Lobbyists Registry within the meaning of the Act: your registration is done by publishing mandates, to which you are attached, in Carrefour Lobby Québec from the Collective space of the enterprise or organization.
