Joining a Collective space

To access all features related to writing, publishing, and managing mandates, and to be assigned to mandates as a lobbyist, you must join the Collective space of your enterprise or organization and become a member.

Please note that consultant lobbyists must join the Collective space of their own enterprise or organization, and not their client’s Collective space, to disclose the lobbying activities they carry out on behalf of this client.

Once you are accepted as a member of the Collective space, the Senior officer (SEO) or an administrator (ADM) will assign you one or more roles, depending on the nature of your duties and tasks. You can view the different roles you may be assigned within a Collective space here.

You can join a Collective space:
  1. by sending a request to its SEO or one of its administrators; or
  2. by invitation from its SEO or one of its administrators.

Joining a Collective space by sending a request to its Senior officer and administrators

To do so:
  1. Go to the “Actions” section of your Professional space.
  2. Click on “Je veux rechercher un Espace collectif” (I want to search for a Collective space).
  3. Search for the Collective space using the name of the enterprise or organization to which it belongs, or its Québec enterprise number (NEQ).
  4. Click on “Rejoindre cet Espace collectif” (Join this Collective space).
A notification will then be sent to the Senior officer and administrators of that Collective space. Once your request has been accepted, you will have access to the Collective space.

Joining a Collective space by invitation from its Senior officer or one of its administrators

If you already have a Professional space in Carrefour Lobby Québec at the time of the invitation, you will receive a notification through which you can directly accept or decline to join the Collective space. This notification is sent by email and is also displayed in your Professional space.

If not, you will receive an email invitation to create a Professionnal space, along with a unique code that will allow you, from the Actions section of your Professional space, to join the Collective space.

Access to your Collective spaces

You can access the Collective spaces you are a member of from your Professional space. Those for which you have requested membership and are awaiting a response are also visible there. They will become accessible once your request is accepted.
